Killer*Duke

AKA: DUKE NUKIT

What's in a name:

How I got involved with single shooter PC gaming it all started with Doom. I have played every release of Doom plus the Master Levels CD for Doom 2 which included hundreds of custom maps. After Doom it was on to Duke Nukem 3D. What a awesome single shooter game engine being able to throw pipe bombs, attach lazer tripbombs to walls, and shrink, and freeze your enemies. My son, a couple of his friends, and me would play cooperative or deathmatch eachother with modem to modem play on Doom 2, and Duke3D. It was alot of fun at first but then it got old after a while. Then one day two years ago I was browsing the gaming software at Office Depot. There was Quake 3 so I decided to be Duke Nukit and go kick some ID ass. It took some time to catch on to playing with the mouse and keyboard plus figuring out how to get the best performance with a 56k modem. SHS, and Game Faq's is the first information source I came across about tweeking the console, and from there I kept improving. I am still here today only because of all the great people that keep this Q3 engine going. Thanks and Frag On........!!

Game types played: BFG, Rail, Rockets, Freeze Tag, and sometimes a good old death match at Frigs Place.
